2021-22. Translator and content creator. Think FWD Group. Milan, Italy.

I created the English-language presentation of the subsidiary company Bottega Ligure, employed at the 2021 edition of the HOFEX international fair in Hong Kong.

Moreover, I enabled the activation of an agreement between the Think FWD Group and the University of Genoa. Contextually, I acted as the academic tutor for the intern Joyce Alexandra Topi Mendieta, who is currently writing a dissertation on Bottega Ligure’s strategies to approach the Far East market (her defense is expected for October 2022).

With the help of Joyce and the APAC manager Andrea Rossi, I designed multimodal materials for the landing of the company on the B2B channel. Joyce and I also worked together to prepare promotional materials in both Italian and English for two other subsidiaries of the holding, namely SemplifAI and Cala Loca.

The Language Company is a private language school that offers classes in a variety of languages as well as preparing candidates for English certification exams.

I used to teach Italian to individual students or small groups. Lessons would be held in the school premises and their contents would be tailored to the background and goals of each student or group.

Whenever necessary or suitable, I prepared ad hoc materials to facilitate learning.

HGS is a global leader in delivering top-quality customer experience. From my post in Preston, Lancashire, I enabled 40-60 students a day to smoothly receive their loans from Student Finance England (callers from England) or Student Loans Company (callers from Scotland), timely resolving any bureaucratic glitches which emerged in the process.

By simultaneously relying on the information stored on dedicated software and the notes taken by colleagues, I could keep track of the information on every single student, updating it in real-time as the situation evolved.
